Something than took me less than a minute with firegraft. It's basically the same original mod but compatible with starcraft:brood war version 1.16.1 . I didn't make the original mod nor I take any credit for it. The mod has barely been tested as I just recently made this patch. Everything seems to work as intended however. If the game crashes at some point then comment. This mod has only be tested in windows 7, I am not sure if they work on the other versions.
Starcraft BroodWar 1.16.1 game hack
Try running the program again. In my experience I used to have to execute this thing twice because I had a bad directory registry setup but besides that everything works . Also, make sure you got the latest starcraft version. This may only work with SC:BW 1.16.1. Besides that, there's no reason for it to not work.
*This mod has NOT been fully tested. If you see any problem then feel free to post about it.*I did NOT make this mod. I just made a custom executable based on firegraph for the sole purpose to make it work on starcraft brood war 1.16.1 so you will not have to spend countless hours for an alternate method that implies using two programs.*The Original source of the mod is from 'Gundam Century' mod db page, which is the outdated version of the mod that is only compatible to old starcraft version.*The icon of the executable is from Warcraft 3. I made this in a rush and the only ico. file I could find was that one.*I used Firegraft for 1.16.1 to make the patch, not to be confused with the outdated version (1.15)
Run the game once and it will generate ddraw.ini in the game folder. You can edit this configuration file to your preference. Example: ; restore mouse mhack=false ; smooth a graphics filter=linear renderer=opengl ; run in fullscreen windowed=falseSome Wine versions (e.g. 1.7.46 -- 1.7.47) hang completely with their native ddraw. CNC-ddraw will fix this issue as well.Comments Post new comment The following comments are owned by whoever posted them. WineHQ is not responsible for what they say.
Step 3 : Start broodwar using wlauncher. On the top side of the program click '' CA-+XAI''.Make sure you have checked , ChaosPlugin for 1.16.1 , Latency Changer for 1.16.1 and StormPlugin for 1.16.1.Finally start starcraft with this antihack launcher by clicking '' ?? ?? " at the bottom left of the program.
If the game is lagging, you can cancel units or structures multiple times, which results in free resources. Deliberately using third party programs to create lag should be disallowed, but if someone were to use a computer that meets the minimum system requirements for starcraft, without using third party programs, and it is possible to make the game lag during normal gameplay, the game may be considered to be running as intended, and the use of this glitch may be acceptable. The use of this glitch is highly controversial. As it requires old hardware or third-party software, this may require a different category to ordinary speedrunning. This got fixed in version 1.01, although a version of this relating to Guardians remained until version 1.02.
Tell a mutalisk to morph to a guardian. Tell the mutalisk to stop morphing to a guardian twice in rapid succession on a slow gamespeed. The mutalisk will first revert to the morphing state, used for morphing larvae to mutalisks. The mutalisk would then revert to its normal state, but it is instead given a cancel order. Because it is in a state used for morphing larvae to mutalisks, it knows what to do and refunds it's full cost. Unfortunately, a similar glitch does not work on sunken colonies (this would be more useful), because they do not come out of larva. In laggy situations, according to the starcraft patch notes, this can give multiple refunds. Fixed in version 1.02. 2ff7e9595c
